Pocket Cutlery
What kinda knifes do you guys carry? I was reading the snapswivel vs tying on thread when someone said they dont always have something to cut with, where as I ALWAYS have something to cut with nearby. Even laying here in the bed, i have 3 knives within arms reach.
I usually carry my Kobalt lock back razor blade knife, or my favorite knife, a M Tech 8" folding knife. I found it while looking for a deer that my dad mauled on the way to work. Then if i need to go to a sharper knife i have a belt holster Buck 110 that my grandpa gave to me, given to him by his uncle. Its a Champion battery sponsor knife. I'm not so much on the crazy expensive knifes except for like a filleting knife which i only own one and its not even that great. We just use the super sharp ones we bought from the Palmetto Deer Classic and they stay in the kitchen. Enough on my knives, what are yours?

I recently started using a Gerber Crucial, it's one of the best knives I have used...it's got a built in caribiner/bottle opener..so I can hook it to my belt loop or crack a cold one

I carry either a Spyderco Delica or a Spyderco Persian. The Delica is my daily carry knife and the Persian is a nicer knife so I don't carry it as often. Either way I ALWAYS have a knife on me.

I feel naked without my knife when I get to where I'm going after travelling by air. So bad to the point that I reach for it only to find it's not there.

I carry one of these in my pocket most of the time. Mine is at least 40 years old, worn and tarnished because it's the knife my father always carried with him but it's the same type electritian's knife. When I'm fishing I always have my skining/gutting knife as well as the few times I get to hunt.

I always have a small Gerber in my pocket. Also I always have either a ~4" blade Kershaw or most of the time a Leatherman Skeletool CX. I would feel naked without them.

When I was young, I used to always wear a Buck on my hip and had a bootknife tucked in one boot or another.....Nowadays I carry keep a small Gerber 300 in my pocket and keep a larger Survival style lockblade in my tackle box.
