no we don't walk the dog cause you'll catch chiggers -the other red bug- lil beast will eat ya up but good..like popcorn one is never alone but 25-50 are the normal at a time...

i'm here to tell you that "chain o lakes" near cleveland does have it's share of gators....but huntsville state park has plenty as well....they don't come after you at all...i have had them go after one of my lures though....but have never snagged one yet.....betursweetbass and i went to fayettville this past wed and had a great day fishing.....this time bet outfished me guys...so we're even i guess....but i did catch the biggest of the day though.....

Plenty of Gators here in Florida. They usually swim away from the bass boats. I have accidently hooked one in the back with a rattletrap while ripping it through shallow 3 foot flat. Boy, that was a fight and I wasn't sure it was a gator until I was about 10 feet from it. I quickly clipped the line when I saw what it was, whew!

Wow, those are some healthy gators. Looks like the stuff we have down here. Still waiting for someone from Stick Marsh to chime in with some dinosour pics.

Yes gators are down south, and yes they get really big in florida. I've personally seen some 14' and up, with several in the 12' range. They will normally just move off. Someitmes scaring the bejubus out of ya. I had on one occasiona had a gator actually follow us in the bass boat. It was creepyu so we fired up the motor and left that area. I aint going swimming down here unless it's a must.(ie keys in the water, boat floating across the lake) I will not water ski or tube here either. They eat whatever they want to, or should say whatever they can get, with their stealth, which is about anything they want LOL. I don't like em, but have grown accustomed to them if that's possible in the last 2 years. I've fished places in my little boat, that few people ever can get too. The gators are BIGGGGGGGG in some of those areas. Oh yeah, they can and do survive in saltwater too, so remeber that sharks and cuda's aint the only toothy critters in saltwater that can bite.

I got a nice place where you can see all the Gators you want to. You will not see a Gator under 8 foot here either. I think the little ones high tail to the canals until they get big enough. Ask Lizzie, he's seen plenty of em.
