Hybrid are crossed between a white bass & Striped bass. Hybrids get bigger than white bass. But not as big as a Striped. They are Way better fighters aswell. We catch them mostly on spoons & Jigs. Well also have an 18 inch min. keeper size here on blue springs lake.

All the fish had lock jaw. I got no response off the Bps extreme Jig. So i went with old faith ful(sassy shad). I started pounding the points. I slowed the old sassy shad down. The fish would short bite the bait. They were biting the tails. They would swim with the bait right up to the edge of the boat. But not one fish was swallowing the hook. I could'nt of slowed bait down any further. I was spending about 2-3 minutes on each cast bouncing the bait off the bottom. I was only casting 8 to 10 ft at that. I got skunked but i'm going to try to make it back next week. I still enjoyed myself allot. The lake water was just to cold. The fish are just to sluggish. My river is doing aliitle better. But moving water plays a bigger role on how much warmer water can be
