Are there shad in Wisconsin?
Only place I've ever seen them is in the fish tanks at Cabela's.
I've seen little minnows in all varieties, but no shad. |

When I hear the word "shad" without a qualifier, I interpret that to mean threadfin shad. Wisconsin is north of the threadfin's range, but the state does have gizzard shad.
