Default New to Forum

Hey guys, Im new to the forum but not to fishing. I am the president and founder of the Baylor University Bass Club who compete against other colleges all over the nation on national television. I know Im far from home but I was hoping I could share and get some insight on other fishermen. I want to be a Texas Game Warden when I graduate in December to protect the resources we still have so future fishermen will still have something to catch.

Welcome to the madhouse, tex. Sounds like you'll get along good in here.
By the way, if you see a guy on here named Lunker-Lander, he's lost his bait monkey. Keep an eye out for it, would ya? Thanks.

How could I "lose" my bait monkey!?!? As far as I know, it controls me! Mom didn't approve of the $800 I spent in the last month!

Welcome to the forum! Always glad to see a fellow Texan join the forum.

Wish they would have had something like that when I was at A&M. What lakes do you fish?

Hey Tex - welcome aboard. tell us a little about your fishin' Where? PR's, are you shore bound or a boater, are you strictly a bass guy or do you chase whatever is bitin'? I went to school in Western New York, a fishing club would have been awesome. Anyway, thanks for stoppin' by!

They have one now, in fact aTm's team won it last year. I mainly fish east TX lakes like Cedar Creek, Fork, T-wok, Richland Chambers, but since I moved to Waco I been fishing Waco a lot and Stillhouse Hollow and Belton.

I've been keeping an eye on it! LOL you guys are doing great and it tickles me to death to see Donny, you and others keeping it alive. The new format is fine with me, the concept is still a good one!

Jobwise? Same thing different suppliers though, and a different culture out here. It certainly takes some getting used to because folks are pretty much "behind the times" in the outlying Georgia areas (was that Ned Beatty I just saw, wait I think I hear a banjo!! Uh OH!).

Tell the guys to keep the fires burning, I hope to come home some day!
