Smile Floating finesse worm - rigging

The Zoom floating worm has a flat side and a ribbed round side. When rigging Texas style which side of the worm should the hook come out of? The flat side or the round side? Thank you.

Doesn't matter all that much, I prefer the round side, but if you're texposing, the flat one works better.

It doesn´t matter much. T rig your worm but before hooking it into the body extend the hooking point about half an inch from where the hook point is supposed to enter the worm, the worm instead of being straight it´s kinked. Then tie a 1 ft long leader, add a swivel and connect to your main line. The kinked worm has more lively action than a straight one, the swivel is to avoid line twist because it does twist the line.

Welcome to the forum!

I always bring the hook out and back in through the flat side. It keeps the worm falling straight.
