The Springer we had before Katie had a 4th of July birthday. When she turned 3 (21 in dog years), we had a little extra bubbly left from the festivities.
It didnt take much to get her good and drunk. A very funny birthday for her, but her tail was waggin'.

I gave one of my dad's bird dogs hot sauce once. Poor dog would never eat when it was my turn to feed him from that day on.

Very funny pic, JB!
It brought back memories. My old band, well our booking agent discovered us at a Battle of the Bands sponsored by Miller Beer (he was a local Miller Rep). He had a black Lab he had named Sterling (after the other beer he rep'd of course). Man, that dog was an alcoholic! He was a great dog, but man...he would not leave you alone if you were sitting in the living room drinking a beer. He would bite you on the leg just hard enough to really piss you off until you gave him what he wanted...his own can (or three) of beer. I'm glad the SPCA never heard about that one LOL.

So far every Sam Adams flavor i've tasted ranked right up there as some of the best tasting beer i've ever had.....haven't tried the Octoberfest yet, but it sounds like I need too.
