This is amazing, the Get-Together isn't for another six months and the Pine Lodge is almost at capacity. Only one room left in the Lodge; room #7. Who's gonna be the lucky one?

The Pine Lodge, Room #7 is a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6 for $90 a night.

Keep in mind that the Resort also offers a wide range of cabin rentals too; all within walking distance of the Pine Lodge.

Covered boat slips are also available for $15 day.

Cavs...that would be awesome if you make it. I would like nothing more than to see a guy like you land a 5lb Smallie....except watching myself landing a 6lb Smallie!

I suppose this is where I need to say.

"Hey Cavs, if you show up, you had better have your dad with you, or at least a note, signed by your mom. All kidding aside, don't do anything stupid, get your parents permission."

HEY GUYS IM BACK!!!!

After Months of NOT having a fast internet connection, I decided to Go with AT&T after my other internet connection "Earthlink" Dropped service in my area.

Visiting the site sometimes took 5-10 minutes just to load a single page on phone line connection, But enough about that.

Ive been Kill'N bass, all summer, and even late into fall, catching 3-5's out of a local park district lake, Ill probably Put some pictures up later.

I vote for whatever lake has fish in it, I don't care really, Ill be there again in 2010 with my dad, and his car that can catch fish., (lol) So hows everyone doing? Woody, Kevin, Zooker, BAMA!, So much to catch up on, I feel bad for not posting in a long time. But excited to catch up with everyone on the site.

[QUOTE=Bassboss;269593]Me and my dad's vote are for when ever fishing is best! Sounds like a good plan to me! That's being:

I also saw that they have 14' Jon boats for rent, but I don't think that they some with fish finders and what not like you guys would have on you rigs.

A 14' Jon boat on Dale Hollow would be rough on a calm day ,just saying.

Welcome Back S4il!

Did your dad ever get that banjo that he was looking for?

If he did, have him bring it to the Holler'.

Arrow Taking Your Role in this Event

For us to have a successful Get-Together, we are gonna need everyone's involvement and contributions to our daily acts of fellowship. So, what we are looking for, are commitments towards our daily events. Here's what's been committed so far.

-Thursday May 6th, the day of our arrival, Mr. Headrick has committed to a seminar to mark the "kick-off" of our Get-Together.

-John and Lisa have also committed to hosting our Saturday Evening's Meal.

-John has also accepted the role of being the Spokesman for our event.

-Ron, Adam and Mark have also accepted the positions of being the Event's Host.

Alright then, at this point our first task at hand is our Opening Night, that which in is being highlighted by a seminar from our guest, Mr. Headrick. So then, what we are looking for is someone to commit to hosting this evening's meal. This person will be in charge of the planning, the gathering, and the preparation of this special evening's meal, in which Mr. Headrick will be a guest. Remember, whoever decides to host this meal will be put "-in charge-" of this meal. Whatever you say goes; whatever you need, just ask for, someone will bring it; this is where everyone's involvement with support and contributions is crucial to the success of our "Opening Night". Who will be willing to step up?

Keep in mind that we are also need someone to commit for Friday evening. But to keep things focused, let's first settle on our Opening Night preparations.

In closing, for an event this big to be successful, it is going to take a group effort to put it all together. I understand that right now allot of you are still in the deciding stage of whether you will be able to make the event or not. But once you decide, let's take it to the next level and ask ourselves, "what role do I want to play in this?" Let's see where we can take this!

If we're coming, count us in for bringing hushpuppies... er I mean shutupdogs for the fish fry.

And since 5 times the normal recipe was almost gone before the fish were done, I think we'll bring twice as much this time.
