That is a sweet looking soft plastic. I'd like to know as well when they'd be available.

Sort of looks like Lake Fork Tackle meets Gene Larew, if you follow me.
Great looking bait, look forward to trying them. Thanks for sharing.

They will be available through Cabelas and Academy Sporting Goods soon, but you will be able to get them through the website even sooner

https://www.grandebass.com/gb93t/sto...?idCategory=74

I will let you know when he has the inventory produced with the full color selection. It won't be long (well before you guys up north thaw out!! lol)

Actually, John, it could be, but it was meant to be more of soft jerkbait in the Super Fluke type baits. Truthfully speaking, the applications are endless. Jerk-bait, swimbait, t-rigged, c-rigged, use your imagination (i.e., power drop shotting).

GrandeBass makes great plastics and I've caught a lot of fish on them. I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't ever used them.

http://www.grandebass.com/gb93t/stor...?idCategory=88

It is now launched and available to you guys through our online store. It will be hitting the stores in a few weeks (Dick's, Walmart, Academy, Cabelas, and Gander Mountain). There are only five colors available right now, but they will soon be available in all the great GB colors. For now you can get them in Green Pumpkin, Trophy Hunter (one of favorites for all the bait types we have), Watermelon Sd/Char, Watermelon/Red and, finally, White (a go to for me in soft jerkbaits).
You guys are going to love the action on this bait. With convention unweighted hooks rigged much like a super fluke you can twitch the bait, walk the dog, let it die and it will turn back on itself. Using a belly weighted wide gap hook and retrieved slowly and steadily and you have a great swimbait action. It will handle up to a 6/0 hook with ease, but I will probably fish it with the same hook I normally use on the Super Fluke (a 4/0 round bend offset hook from Gamakatsu).
I introduced my Texas brothers to this on the Forum I am a moderator on last night. Orders are flowing in like crazy, so you guys need to jump in there and get yours too!! Don't worry though, our new facility and operations can keep up with the orders now!

Walmart is planning to open the line with 50 stores in the Texas market first (in the March/April) timeframe. Once the word of this bait and our other great baits gets out, Walmarts all around this great country will be carrying them. There are also a couple of online Tackle retailers carrying the baits as well. I will get those links up shortly.

Here's a rigging video that my buddy, Lance Vick put out yesterday.

Thre are other ways to rig this bait as well, but this will probably be the most common.

Great looking bait! I'll be getting some in the near future. Looks like a great spin on the Fluke rig.

Do you know if they plan on coming out with more sizes?

I'm definately going to give them a try. My only concern is how well the joint section in the middle will hold up working the bait through cover and while fighting a fish.

Yes, later this year there will be a 4.5" version coming out.

Keith, my baits are on the way, so, officially, I cannot say. A couple of our Texas Pro-staffers and pro-team members are raving about them. I haven't heard one single negative thing about them from those guys yet.

Good to hear! Hopefully they'll end up with a 3.5" and 6.5" sometime too!
