Default One Small Victory For...

The monkey, of course! And many more to come before spring.

Had some time to spare and happened to be about a mile from Jann's Net Craft today.

A Little John, a Little John MD, and a Little John DD.

Also, a pack of the new Gamakatsu Flipping hooks with wire bait keeper. And a pack of 1/16oz Owner Shaky Heads. These are new with an EWG hook.

BB, John Crews who came up the little Johns only lives about 5 or 6 miles from us. But we never see him out anywhere. Every once in awhile we'll see him pulling his boat on the way out of town.

That's cool Ron. See if you can hit him up for a few Little Johns!

Keith, I really liked that color too. I don't see too many crayfished cranks that aren't red/browns. You can't really tell in the picture, but it's also got red flakes, like a watermelon red worm.

The eyes on the LJs say, hey, I'm looking for a fight, come bite me. Don't know if they work that good, but they look mean.

Absolute fish getters! Next time pick up an Old Glory color, will surprise you.
Just don't tell everybody how good they are or they will be in short supply!

Does that pack of Owner hooks really say "SUPPER NEEDLE POINT" on it? Seriously?

LMAO, I didn't notice that! I guess something got mixed up in the translation from Japanese.

Maybe if they were SUPER needle point hooks, they would need the same "Extremely sharp hooks. Keep away from children." warning on them like the Gamakatsu pack.

They are a great crankbait. Well I can't speak for the DD because I haven't got my hands on them yet but I will have some before Spring gets here. But the MD is an amazing crankbait and I have no doubt that the DD will be just as impressive.

Don't know if he was at Richmond this year. Thought he walked past the booth but didn't get a good look at his face or jersey to see if it was him or not. Sometimes he's there and sometimes not. Met him and his folks last year. Good people.

Typo's happen all the time. My buddies business card for painting crankbaits has "bails" instead of "baits". He didn't catch it until after he had handed a couple hundred out.
