Default Monkey

Had not heard of monkey til I joined this forum. Now I know who's behind me and saying go ahead, you can explain it later. Or is he the one who sends the deals you can't pass up, my way. Either way he's winning and I can't say I am really upset. Any way ran across a calcutta cte101 gt today on ebay ang got it for 185 including shipping (to my brothers), brand new in box. I think it's justifiable. Good luck guys, he's smart

LMAO Zooker. That thing reminds me of a mix of Planet of The Apes, A Clockwork Orange and Braveheart.

He is a wild little thing. And like he always says, it's easier to explain than ask permission.

Congrats on the new reel. Let us know how you like it after you give it a good workout!

Good luck with the reel tarpon. I just traded for a 200B. Going to try it out for smaller swimbaits. Also going to put it on the new 8ft. Kistler Mag that was sitting on my porch when I came home today.

Bob I have had many reels over the years, but I quit searching a few years back and all I fish now are shimanos. They have been very good to me and easy to service. This is the first Te, could not justify the price over my other cals or curados. Anxious to see if there is a big difference. You should enjoy your 200, I've got an old silver one thats still top knotch. These are easy reels to use once you have them set up. Taught my youngest at thirteen in less than an hour a couple years ago. Be sure and let me know on the rod. My wifes got an afj68 argon and I seem to run across some good deals on Kistlers (monkey talking).

Allright everybody, after fishing the te101gt for several months it is by far the better of my calcuttas. With all things being equal it outcast and outperforms my calcutta b's. I rarely ever backlash no matter what the conditions with this reel, IMO it handles lighter lures better. It is currently paired with Fenwick 7' rod, while the others are on loomis, kistler and crucial rods. I have not run across another deal on this reel (185.00) is the only reason I don't have another.
However I just purchased a chronarch 101b at a really good price and will be using it this weekend. Curious to see how it feels compared to my curados. I paid less for it than I did my Curados.

Imagen my surprise when I open this thread and see a post by zook. I thought I saw a ghost.
