They can just, keep their JDM reels AND their Kobe Beef. I work hard for my money and plan on using it wisely.

Yeah that is just a little high on shipping. I guess I will have to find something else to spend Lakes college fund on because I refuse to pay that much for shipping LOL.

In some cases they place the bid entry level low that is to make sure they get so much,in that case the reel is expensive.
I know no one who needs money so little they would pay 1800 dollars for a reel, maybe some one who doesnt need it but dont know any personally.Maybe a megabucks winner?
Saw a handgun for 22,000 dollars the other day, gold inlays of course and then theres the 1 million dollar purse.
My standard answer when a boat dealer offers me a 65k boat for 62 is how many bedrooms and baths does it have.

Now that you put it that way, I might have to re-think my stance on this. I wonder how I can justify this purchase to Britney? I am all for the "it's easier to ask forgivness than permission" deal, but I usually try to reserve that for fishing stuff.

Just tell her they're super more rare, she should understand that.

The basement will stay 60-65 degrees year round, that sounds perfectly fine to me.

Really, I don't think $22.00 to ship to the US from Japan is out of line. I'm amazed at work when it comes to shipping charges as to just how high it is domestically. UPS has become outrageous when it comes to shipping charges.

The shipping? I wouldn't buy the reel for it's heart attack making price, lol. That is one bad looking mamma jamma however.
