Good advice!
While I've never needed them for fishing, I've used similar things on the roof.
The ones I've used are more like a bandana. They also make them in do rags and stragely enough...vests.

I would soak them in the fridge overnight, then throw them in a ziploc in the morning, then into my lunch box.

They really do help

As someone who has had heat stroke/exhaustion before, it ain't nothin you want to mess with or ever have again. I always have something similar to this with me and use 'em often.

Great advice and great video. Thanks Crankbait

I have several of the "cool rags" that we keep in the cooler and periodically change them out as they get warm and dry. The first one I got was $15 and received one as a gift. Found a couple more at GM on sale for $5/each. They are definitely worth it if you are out on a hot day!! We use them any time we are outside in the heat, mowing, working in the yard, fishing, etc.

I get mine at safety stores, geared towards construction workers.
Reasonable prices
