mr photo try throwing around both of the docks they have there and near the spillway. also on the other side over the footbridge there was a small tree in the water last year so that would be a place to try.after that just experiment and work the shorline.

no need to go way out in the middle so were going to stick to the shore anyway.. by spillway you mean dam right?

most people say after a good rain fish at the bottom of the dam.. works good i guess

Last weekend I was taking bass off the surface with a floating Smithwick Rattln Rouge. The pattern involved fishing it over submerged weedbeds in about 6 feet of water. The only areas I caught bass however were areas that had deeper water nearby. The retrieve wasn't anything special. Just cast it out and let the water settle a few seconds. Then it was a twitch twitch, tug, followed by reeling up the slack, then twitch twitch again. I was also taking bass off spinnerbaits worked through weedbeds, and a couple off cranks worked along the deeper edges of the weedbeds. Good luck.
