Around 6 for this smallie. I also caught a LM last week that was pretty heavy, but I don't think quite 6. I really want a SM that is 8, lifetime goal I guess.

If we are talking LM, sadly mine is only a mere 2.0 lbs. The largest fish that I have ever caught was a drum sucker fish in TN that weighed around 3 1/2 lbs. I am still waiting for that big bass to jump on my hook any day now.

3lbs here. Sad thing is, I caught it on a depth sounder while ice fishing. For you who don't ice fish, and the southern boys, the depth sounder is clipped onto your hook or ice jig and it helps you find the correct depth. Becasue when Ice fishing, you want to be close to the bottom. This heavy weight will take your little ice jig to the bottom, then you pull it up, (not reel line in) and unclip it, then you have the correct depth.

I was dropping mine down while perch fishing (again for you southern boys, reel yellow perch ) and all of a sudden my line started to go sideways under the hole in the ice. I started reeling in and lucky enough, my ice jig, with size like 20 or smaller hook, got him and I landed him. (on 4lb test too)

http://www.saltcreekoutfitters.com/I...epthfinder.jpg There's ya a picture. My bass preferred an orange one.

well today was definitely my personal best. didnt get a picture of the largemouth, but was for sure 21" and 12" girth. this picture definitely stole the show. 21" and at least 13" girth, fought for close to 7 minutes, missed netting him once, and just ran out as much line as i could reel in. after some big fun and a couple nice pictures, my day was complete, and the monster swam back to the deep.

I don't know, it was just a bit of a dumb question, and if you read his post, that was his PB smallie 2-2.25 lbs, not almost 9.
