I always have a rayburn red 1/2 oz. cotton cordell super spot tied on. The shimmy is awesome on the pause, it burns very well, and the sound chamber just creats a mind-melting chatter that makes fish just want to kill it. They're about $3, and can be found at almost every tackle shop. I modify it with mustad trebles and an oval split ring for the line tie. You won't regret getting one! BFK

As soon as it hit the grass bed, rip it once, then pause......(Repeat)
I caught most my fish when it falls in the grass on the pause. Almost when its just laying there. Always can rip it back to the boat.
Past week I've been fishing XCalibur Xr50 Rattle Bait ( Foxy Momma ) and Xcalibur Xr50 Real Gill ( Chicken Pox ) Had the best luck on CP.
I always have a Bill Lewis Bluegill Red laying around. Skeet Reese, Magic Craw and Sun Fish I like.
Heard good things about the Jackall TN Lipless Crankbait from our Clear Lake boys.

Check out the Xcalibur XRK50 in rayburn red. That one big ball rattling gives them a different sound than other baits so fish that see 'traps alot are conditioned to the sound they're making yet. I've caught a lot of nice fish on the Xcalibur one knockers and their orginal rattling bait.
