Default Universal Spinning Rod

Hey guys, over the past year I have upgraded all of my baitcasting rods and reels to top of the line gear, but over the winter i am looking to get a nice spinning rod... what is one rod that i could dropshot, shakyhead, t-rig finesse worms, and throw small baits with? I was thinking a 7'0" Medium Rod??? I would like to hear your thoughts.

Ryan

www.broutlawrods.com/catalog.html This has been my favorite spinning rod. 7' Medium. Very light, sensitive, yet good backbone. I'll keep an eye out if he has any sales like he did 2 years ago at the fishing show in Novi, MI a couple years ago.

IMHO, you'll need to.

Pick your budget and fav brand and get a ML fast action and a MH fast action.

The ML will throw your smaller and finess baits

The ML will throw your heavier rids.

But most importantly, the ML and M power ratings are not standardized amoung the rod manufacturers. Nothing beats holding the rod and seeing if it is something you could fish w/ all day.
