Slim Beauty Knot
I was looking around for an illustration to tie the Slim Beauty knot (braid to mono) and found this excellent site for Fishing Knots: http://www.netknots.com Not only do they have very clear illustrations but most of the knots are also animated. Very cool and helpful. Enjoy.

I just looked at the Slim Beauty knot. And 3 things jumped out at me. It's not beautiful, it's big and bulky, and you actually cut the line in two places that aren't the ends of either the main or tag ends.
I would strongly suggest that you take a good look at either a Albright or reverse Albright knot. If the knot size isn't a issue with you, then go with the reverse Albright. Over all knot size is a issue with me as the larger the knot going through my guides on the cast, the more abuse the guides are getting. If the Albright knots aren't for you, then a Uni to Uni is the way to go. I've never had any issues with either knot if they are tied correctly for connecting braid and a mono leader.
