Thumbs up Going to Go Break My Bank Account...

Well I plan to head on to the ole Bass Pro tommorrow providing the snow really does change to rain like they say and Austin Peay closes down campus. I'm going to probably spend every last penny I can afford because even though I have been good about the monkey this winter, that lil b-tard just made me see the error of my ways and convinced me that enough is never enough.

I have no clue what I am going to get since I am still pretty full on all my terminal stuff from last year so I don't plan to buy a bunch of hooks, weights and such. The only thing I am a little short of in the teminal department is shaky heads so I plan to gorge myself in the jighead aisle. Well now that I think about it I am almost out of 1/4oz bullet weights so that goes on the list.

I also will be stocking up on some new spooks and if they have the buzzbaits I like maybe a few of those (doubt it on the buzzbaits though because I usually only use a certain custom made one). Also have to pick up a few LC pointers and cranks.

Any ideas what else I should look at as far as lures go???

Look at the Yellow Magic poppers. I had pretty good luck on them last year.

Koppers live target cranks are super popular around here.

if there is plenty of shad locally, grab one of these...

or some of these:

they are close enough to look like real shad/minnows that I get hits on them almost any time of the year

Well had to postpone my trip because the snow did turn to rain for about an hour then right back to snow again. I would drive up there anyways but my dad took the 4x4 to go to work in today so I am stuck with a rearwheel drive lincoln and that just won't cut it.

Going to go either this weekend or when enough snow melts off the roads.
