Yeah, it was that kind of night!!
Nonstop largemouth action. As the sun began to sink and the flying bugs rested for a second on the water, the top water action was explosive.
A few more days I think and unfortunately this jointed rapala will no longer be as useful as the weeds have grown immensely over the weekend. The bass ranged 1 to 3 pounds but occassionally a pig like the one I caught and posted a pic of the other night. |

Thats a pretty cool picture. I know what you mean about the weeds. Last weekend I was working a Rattlin Spook over the tops of hydrills which was still about a foot below the surface and just killin the bass. Today however, all that hydrilla is now matted and I worked the frog instead which only produced one bass.
