I picked up 2 of these last fall, and I love the brakes on these reels. You can't beet them for $90. Plus the free stuff with the PT club. I got a couple of t-shirts.

The reel got here 1/2 hour ago. As some of you already know, I'm getting into baitcasting for the 1st time this season. So my opinion isn't worth a whole heckuva lot but this seems like an awesome reel to me!
Very light and a nice low profile. Seems very smooth to me as well. One spin of the handle sends the line guide back AND forth twice.
I'm likin this. Come on April! ;(

Mallen, your going to love that reel, the brakes are better than all my other b/c reels (daiwa/abu/BPS) you almost have to try to make it backlash on the #3 setting. I also bought an energy and cant tell a bit of differance in the reels other and looks.

Not true. If you have a Cabela's Visa card, and join the Cabela's Club. You get it for $89.99.
It's got nuthin to do with the $15 buck off on your first order.

Hmm. I called and they said there was no discount available for being part of the CLUB or having the Cabela's Visa Card, but I guess it's worth a shot to go in and try.

The deals for having a Cabelas Club Visa are awesome. In the last couple weeks I've got the Catalyst for $89.99 and a Fenwick Elite Tech for $99.99.
If it's the Cabelas Club Visa you have, and not the rewards card, you really need to sign up with it at Cabelas.
On the main page, click Cabelas Club up near the top. You should be able to sign up for the club from there. It's been a year since I signed up so I can't remember for sure.
Once you're a member you can click the same spot, sign in,and on the next page, click
the big red box that says Club Visa Deals.
Not positive, but I think it was through that link that I bought my HMGs for $59.99 as well.
