Default 2012 tournament season

Who is getting ready for the 2012 tournament season? I'm looking at schedules that are out to see where I want to fish. I'm looking for a partner for buddy tournaments and looking at solo stuff. So who is already looking towards next year?

Hi Jesse James. Welcome to the forums. You ever want to get together and fish just holler. There are some good lakes between us. I used to pheasant hunt from Cimarron down toward Sublette and Satanta.

I don't tournament fish so I'm not preparing for any. However I do travel to fish (some might call them vacations) and have several planned already.
January - Kissimmiee, FL fishing area lakes in my kayak
April - Potomac River, BBC ralley
May - Dale Hollow, BF.com get together
June - Upper Chesapeake - BBC Ralley
August - Newboro, Ontario Canada
September - still open, but Lake Erie smallmouth have been strongly suggesting I visit.

Thanks for the welcome skeeter. Yeah, there's some awesome pheasant hunting out here. Except this year. The heat and drought just wiped out the populations, young birds and adults. It's pretty sad. Hopefully they'll bounce back. Maybe we can do some fishing sometime. I'm hoping to get up to Cedar Bluff and Wilson a few times next year.

Jesse, I know the feeling about the birds this year. I hunted from Hayes to Stockton opening week and didn't even see all that many birds. I guess I will duck hunt the rest of the year or try some of the hot lakes around here.
