Noticed these on sale at Cabela's. Tour Star golf grip rod. It's a 7ft 2in mh Grass Rod. Thought I would use it for frogging and punching. I think they might still have them on sale. They sold out of the spinning rods. Anyone wanting to try a golf grip rod not to expensively try these- $69.00. Seems like a decent rod for the price.

I normally wouldn't make this offer to anyone, but since it's you Bob, let me offer to spend the next week on vacation fishing with your new rod and I'll be glad to let you know how it performs and any other feedback you might want to have.

Keith, you'll have to spool up the Citica. nobass it's my second golf grip rod. I have an American Rodsmiths Denny Brauer swim bait rod. I like the grips a lot. Any more it feels like a cork handle rod will fly out of my hand if I'm not careful.

I've got a set of the Tour Star grips that I plan to use on a build at some point. I just haven't been building lately. They feel like they will be awesome. I hope your new rod works out well for you.
