Differnt Hook sizes
What are good sized hooks for carolina rigging, texas rigging, and drop shotting.
I usually look just at the physical size of the hooks. I don't know the technical sizes. |

Welcome to the forum Pungo, the best advice I can give you it to let the size of the bait you are using determine the best size of hook. For C-rigs and T-rigs, I generally use an EWG style hook somewhere between a 3/0 and 5/0. DS is not something I do allot of, but when I do I use an Daiichi stand out type hook in a size 1 or 2.
Welcome again

I use EWG hooks in 2/0, 3/0 and 5/0 for texas rig and carolina rig. I only use 2/0 for small carolina rig baits. You want as light a hook as you can get by with on a c-rig to keep your bait from sinking too fast. For drop shot I use size 1 or most commonly size 1/0.
