Default shimano citica

im thinking about purchasing this reel, its fairly expensive and im sure cause of quality. i own three shimano baitcasting and spincasting reels and they have never let me down. but if anyone has ever used this reel...is it worth it? its about $119.00

I might be wrong but I think I saw the Citica at Bass Pro Shop today on sale for $99.00, you might want to look in to that. As far as the quality of the reel I have heard only good things.

LoneStar, I got one of those reels and I love it. It casts very smooth. I like it better than my Curados. I haven't used it on the water yet but practiced with it. Casts great. I mated it with an Airrus mh 6ft6in. rod.

Lonestar, Thats is Dodge Guys standard answer to every question. I think Pflueger gives a person a discount for when you post "Buy a Pflueger President" on a bass site, then you print out a copy of the post and they base the percentage of the discount by the number of copies you posted.I suspect DodgeGuy is getting his reels for next to nothing as many times as he has posted it.
