What to buy with 15 dollars
Can anyone tell me what basic must-need lures to buy? Keep in mind I only have 15 dollars to spend because it's still winter and I earn money by mowing my lawn. (and that's in the summer)

i would get 2 or 3 bags or worms, and a cheap spinnerbait, then a crank or 2 and your good.

Why are worms used so fast? And define cheap for a spinner bait, I have 2.

well, I can use 1 worm and catch maybe 3 bass on it, then I change. It looses scent and the worm just gets all rough, so its not worth trying to fish it again. A "cheap" spinnerbait are the 1 dollar ones at walmart, but if you can try and upgrade to some kind thats around 2.50. walmart should have them around those price range.

Ah I have a 1.00 one from walmart I bought a year ago, and never used because I don't know how to use it. Anyways, I also have a 2.50 one that is pretty nice, but it's old because my dad gave it to me, so I don't know how old it is. Also, worms have scent? You can still catch bass after the scent is gone though right?

I agree with the worms except that if you have a limited budget you might run out of them before your done fishing ... No one talks about them much on here but the Rapala minnows catch tons of fish for me and real simple to fish. Not only that but you can catch 100 fish on it and cast it again. Try that with a bag of worms.

most would be around 3 bucks, but there are almost always small sales going on for 1 or 2 dollar bags.

I know few are joking, but I work retail, and get a great amount of enjoyment busting some little punk trying to steal. And you'd be surprised and how many old folks, and middle aged folks do it as well. Really retarded, and there is nothing more that pisses me off than folks trying to steal. All it does is take money from my pocket, but yet, I could probably break into their house, and steal back the stuff they STOLE, and they'd sue. Weird Weird world.

I think most Wal-Mart stores sell Riverside plastics for 97 cents a pack. May not always be "worms" but you can get imitations of just about any kind of soft plastic that a lot of people use. Beavers, finesse worms, frogs, on and on...the line is made by YUM, I think.
And BassMojo, what are you thinking? Be an ambassador, not an ***. |

if you WERE kidding, get a better sense of humor. just because you put an LOL and a jk at the end of something doesn't mean what you said has no meaning. You think I could go to court and say "i was just kidding..didn't you see the jk lol I left on the counter instead of money" |
