Great line IMO. One of the few I use.

Probably what is on most of my reels right now. Been using it for over a year. Do try it.

I havent used it but I know people that swear by it,they really like it. I like pure fluoro though, and I use mono for everything else.

Now I am confused. I thought the forum consensus favored P-Line braid. Is fluoro the stuff to use instead?

Yes you are confused, but from my experience attorneys usually are anyways rofl (Just kidding) I do not prefer P-Line braid, and I only use P-Line Flouroclear. It's a copolymer, mono with Flourocarbon coating.I wouldn't say there is a consensus about any line here But P-Line Braid isn't talked about much here. At least not as much as some. Now Powerpro, Stren, Suffix are just a few that are talked about, with many others thrown in. Lizards

As to fluorocarbon-I use it as an in-between. In between the stretch of mono and the no-stretch high visibility of braid. It does not stretch like mono, and is virtuaally invisible under water. I use it for weightless jerkbaits, wacky rigs, and finesse jigs. I also use it as a leader with braid fishing a T-rig or jig in clear water. I was looking for a new crankbait line and Flyrod spooled up a reel with Fluoroclear for me to try and I really liked it. Tough and handles extremely well.

Rebbasser, you are correct . . . I am mixing up the P-Line with the Powerpro. I haven't used either because I have been using McCoy Mean Green but I think I might have to give some of the Powerpro a try. What lb. test do you recommend for throwin' in the cabbage w/ my baitcaster?

Lizards, no offense taken . . ya know that attorneys just can't help themselves with asking questions. Always, always, asking questions. So I think I will give the Powerpro a try for fishing the weeds and cabbage. Perhaps I will try the P-line for plastics in clear water. |

I use 50lb Powerpro. It has the diameter of 12lb Mono. Your one of the few attorneys I actually like rotfl. Hope your not frozen in and can get some fishing in on soft water.

W2BF, Same as Lizards-50 lb for the same reasons. All my mono and fluoro lines are 12 lb test, so I want to stay with a line of similar diameter.

Reminds of something a attorney once said. I know you hate attorneys, so do I, but at least you only have to deal with them once in awhile, I have to deal with several of them everyday Mojo, Sorry for hijacking your thread, by it you'll like it. Lizards

Lizards, I guess we both must deal with attorneys on a daily basis. Just curious, what is your profession?

I have P-Line 100% Flourocarbon on my soft jerkbait/stickbait/wacky rig rod. I also use it for some spinnerbaits. It helps it get down deeper, and they can never see it.
