Default Reel Deal

Had been considering a new reel....something around a 6.:1 for throwing shallow and medium cranks, spinnerbaits etc....just a basic reel. My budget was in the $100 to $120 range. So a week or so I stop into the local Gander Mtn to check out what they had available. I'm looking at Citicas and Revo S and a couple of Pluegers. The salesman shows me a Daiwa HSTA they have marked down to $149....$30 off. I do some research when I get home and find the HSTA is a Tackle Tour editor's choice and has good reviews elsewhere.

So I go back today still not sure which one to get when the clerk tells me about the Daiwa but now its another 25% off! No brainer time since that takes the price down below the citica's. Got some InvisX spooled up, some line conditioner and ready to try her out. Unfortunately got to work tomorrow but hoping the weather allows me to get a trial run either tomorrow evening or Sunday.

Congrats on the new reel! I've heard that's a good one. Let us know how you like it.
