Alton Jones running awaw with it
Up by 9 lbs heading into the final day, looks like he could run away with it tomorrow. Prob using the Yum dinger fishing right beside the ramp like he did at the classic lol. Crazy how good some of these guys are.

Trying to cinch that Classic berth up early for next year on the Grand. But with all the flip flops in the looking down the leader board, it could still be a tight one.

It looks like Alton is about to slam the door. The only thing is that they are sight fishing in Florida and anything can happen. As many guys that ran out of big fish is a reminder that all it takes is for Alton to not see a big fish all day and for another guy to have a giant fish and another big one or two move up over night and it could be a shoot out. I have Alton on my fantasy team and I am hopping he can slam the door on this thing.

Alton just landed a 5lber, giving him around 9 on the day with only 3 fish. This thing is all but over with. Faircloth will have to bust 30 to even have a chance to catch him.

I agree, but just to play the devils advocate here and maybe create some drama. I was just watching the War Room on Bassmasters website and they were talking about this exact thing. They said that Faircloth is still hauling around 2 2lbers. If he culls them with 2 6lbers then that would put him up around 77lbs. Which would mean that Alton would have to fill out his limit with a fish that is bigger than 2lbs. That shouldn't be a problem for Alton but also keep in mind that all these weights are unofficial and it's also possible for Alton to have less than Basstrakk shows and also it's possible for Faircloth to have more than Basstrakk shows. I agree it's most likely over, but I just wanted to do my best to create some drama LOL.

BassTrakk has Alton up by a pound with only 4 fish. You are right though, if Alton stumbles this afternoon and Faircloth continues to upgrade, it could happen. Alton hasn't won a tour event since the Classic in '08 and has never won an Elite event, I sure hope for his sake that he pulls it off. We need the fantasy points too.

Does BT subtract the #2er he foul hooked and had to chunk, or was it even entered in the system?

BassTrakk has Faircloth over 20 and Alton with an 11oz lead. This thing is going to be close unless Alton can catch a big one!

If both anglers marshalls are close on the estimated weights this thing is too close to call right now.

Other estimates have Todd at 22 and Alton at 12, which puts Faircloth in the lead. This thing is definitely too close to call. Should be an exciting weigh in.
