Doesnt really look like it would get the job done, but i am just guessing...

This is the best thing if you didnt have an inflatable...

The eBay one looks like the transducer is just on a float and I don't think that would work too well when you are moving at all. On my little boat I have a Lowrance X52 and had a standard skimmer transducer mounted to the back. Of course the transducer quit so I started using my ice fishing one that just hangs on the cord. It doesn't work when moving but if you are sitting still it's O.K. A fixed mount transducer is something I would really look for and if you have a trolling motor you can mount it to that too.

On my kayak I just zip tied the transducer to a foot long piece of PVC, which was then inserted into a flush mount rod holder. Worked like a charm.

Eagle Cuda. Mine's been soaked and frozen several times and still works like a charm.

I needed a Finder with a easy price. My wife started to get pissed as I bought 3 new rod and reel combo's this summer. I've got a 16' bass boat and didn't want to spend
500.00. I took a chance on the Garmin 160c for 189.00. I haven't mounted it yet, but hope to this weekend. The Garmin is a dual beam, color screen. I have read good and
not so good reviews. We shall see.
