Default Babe's a good size guy, so do these work?

I was watching Babe because they were fishing the Madison chain of lakes, about forty miles north of my home.
It was on NBC sports (formerly VS).
Anyway, I used to spend alot of time in a boat and being of smaller stature, it's never been a real challenge for me. ( but you really don't always know when a back challenge is going to raise it's ugly head). But my budies that fish big waters like Erie and Lake Michigan love them! Some of you fish big waters and like mention in Ken's thread on 'wind' there seems to be a fair share of chop to navigate.
So....anyone use them?
What do you think?
Again, kind of spendy? (No, I do not KNOW your monkey!)
But so is a back specialist. Heck a Chiropracter ain't cheap!

Be sure to read the 'Testimonials", you may be surprised. If Pete Mania ( he's not really a big man) likes it, I have a tendency to listen. I've never seen him endorse ANYTHING. He's a blast to watch on his show! I'm really not a Musky or real Pike funatic but Pete makes you wish you were!

Everyone have the very best week you possible can, PLEASE!

Be a waste of good money for me. A Caddy ride on the water? Really, how cushy do you need? Unless you're riding in pounding water OFTEN, or 90 years young, I can't see it. Boat seats are padded for cryin' out loud. I've taken air in my bass boat and landed just fine - did knock the fire extinguisher off it's mount, but hey didn't hurt me a bit. And really, if it's rough enough to need a puzzy seat like that - I'll stay home and fish another day - it's very likely too rough to fish. Now if you're disabled, bad back, too old to cut the mustard any other way - then it may just be the ticket to get you on the water. I do think that if Winkleman sat his fat arse in the seat - all travel and suspension would be eliminated as it would surely bottom out.
