Figure the only way to keep favorites favorite is to use them
Had a great year in 2019 and confirmed that certain lure designs could catch fish. But to make sure last year wasn't a fluke, I have to recast them and new ones in the waters I fish so as to keep those designs stocked. Here are a few that did excellent for different species including bass:
The mini-stick or mini-grubstick: The club tail grub: (Note:I re-hook the lures to the outside of the mouths for my photo records stored on my PC.) Claw grubs (took the claw off a craw lure and fused it to a grub body using a candle flame) I wondered if clear plastic lures would work and was pleasantly surprised. (see the above) |
