Default Gander sales

If you have a Gander near by, you might wanna check out their sales flier.
The one here has up to 40% off all red tagged trolling motors and up to 50% off red tagged rods, reels and combos. Up to 50% off red tagged electronics as well.
Had some good deals on tackle as well.
I stayed away from the rods and reels but grabbed an FTO 1108 spinnerbait wallet, Spro Frog, Spro Aruku Shad, Terminator Buzzbait, 2 Red Eye Shads, 2 packs of Gander 3" Trick Sticks and a couple Road Runner jigs.
Just over 30 bucks with tax.
Wish they woulda had more frogs, the new Nasty Shad frog looks awesome!

I was there last week, Mallen. It seems someone beat me to the Rapala isle. They bought every single last red tag Rapala. I would bet they are showing up on ebay right about now.

The red tagged items were far and few between. I did find a Citica D that was half price_$199 marked down to $99. Yea what? Took it over to the register since no one was around in the fish dept. I said no way this reel reatils for 199. Got the old someone just put the wrong tag on it. Told them I should get it for half of orig reatil plus the 25% off. No way they said. To top it off it was a dermo model.

They were in a bin in the middle of the isle. They only had a few colors to choose from but I still couldn't beleave they had a 6.00 bait for only 2 bucks so I got four of them.

Well Mallen, you got me in trouble. 10 bags of tubes from Gander today. Not that I needed anymore.

Thanks, thanks a lot!

Hey bud, don't laugh about that... I went last week and cleaned the whole place out of gander brand plastics. Walked out with somewhere bewteen 80 and 90 bags of plastics. They were regular 3.99 a piece and I got them for .98 cents and some for .69 cents. The guy at the register told me "I have never seen anyone buy this amount of plastics in one trip" I said "yeah just restocking for next year" . He said to me "hey dude, since your moving so much product, ill knock another $10 off your total... all in all I paid $52 with tax for almost 90 bags of plastics!! Can't argue with results. LOL

Here's another one for ya'll... Dick's Sporting Goods had Spot Remover and Spot Remover Pro Model Shaky Heads recently for $2.97 a pack plus half off of that... so $1.50 a box final price. Let's just say I cleaned out three Dick's Sporting Goods stores of their whole stock of shaky heads... probably a little over a hundred boxes over all. I kept all of these though... I actually throw these!! It feels good getting new tackle, but getting it that cheap feels even better.

Ryan

If you read the fine print in your Bait Monkey Contract, you'll notice that YOUR monkey gets Banana Points if you get someone else to buy tackle or gear. So, while your Monkey isn't completely sated, he does go gentle on your next shopping trip.
It's got somethin' to do with the union.
I was in Gander again today, but didn't buy anything. Apparently, my monkey had owed your monkey a favor
