Need Help
For about 2 weeks. my friends and i have been trying everything, (and i mean EVERYTHING) to get some nice fish, but nothin's biting, we've used jigs, minnows, cranks, poppers, T-rigged worms, they just dont seem interested. either that or their having the most extreame reaction to the heat ive ever seen. So, does any one have somethin' new i could try, for waters anywhere from like 4 to around ten feet. another problem is our lake got pretty thick and tall weeds in most spots. however, farther out there is a relatively weedless strech thats about 6 to 10 feet. I appreciate any help greatly.
Thanks |

Night fishing, or deeper water. the fish need to cool off. They tend to get fussy in the warm water, so at night they cool down a bit and tend to look for food.

yes they i am starting to catch them at night here as well... the only 2 things that i have found productive are a 1/8 oz. white strike king buzzbait, and a 1/6 to a 1/4 ounce roostertail fished on no heavier than 8 lb test (these lures are for day fishing) For night fishing: A black jitterbug and a pop-r, i love it because you can never see the blowup... so u never know how big or small it will actually be!!! Good Luck and i hope they start hitting pretty soon for ya!!

Maybe adding some attractant could be the ticket.

if you are going to fish in the day you must fish deeper or matt crash with 1 oz.jigs.the bass stay where it's cooler and you must hit them in the head.

Yeah try some Spike-it. Try shallow weedbeds with a topwater, particularly a scumfrog, or something similar. And try a Rattlin Vibe by Yo Zuri or a Bill Lewis Rattle Trap near the weedline, drop it into the holes in the weedbeds.
