BPS Customer Service
I just received a $40 gift card in the mail from BPS to cover my costs of having to ship a broken rod back to Shimano (because BPS does not participate in Shimano's over-the-counter exchange program). I didn't really even have to argue for it, I told them what happened and a customer service rep called me and offered to send the gift card to cover my costs.
Nice to see some companies are still willing to stand behind the products they sell and ensure their customers are satisfied. P.S. Shimano is sending me a hat (valued at ~$20) for not disclosing the limited participation in the over-the-counter exchange program in relation to their limited lifetime warranty. P.P.S. Now just waiting to see if Shimano sends me new rod! |
