Default How to clean an airbrush?

I was wondering how to clean an airbrush. Here is what I did. First I ran under water and got most of it out. Then I used cleaner.

What happens if you don't clean your airbrush?

Ya have to make sure the nozzle that the paint comes out it clean and wont be clogged up for the next time..even when you think its clean, next time if it pukes up paint instead of a fine mist, you need to clean it some more,
I'd tend to think some alcohol would do the trick, however each gun probably has a list of cleaners that are prefered
