Default Fishermen Beware !!!

If Obama Hussien is elected. We are in big trouble. All democratic white house, all dem. senate, all dem house. Guess what the liberals will come get your guns & fishing poles. Many said it could'nt happen. Well with out another party majority. There is no balance of power over the other. Meaning they can pass all kinds of liberal agenda's. One of which guns, Anti-hunting & Anti-fishing. Scary but were closer now to that very possibbilty. On Nov 4 take that into consideration. Also on the Economy do you really think a Chicago Community organizer. That never really did any really good for his community. Somone with know understanding of wallstreet. Do you really think he can do any better of a job on the economy than McCain.

LilMoose, I generally agree with you but can't on this one. I will just leave it at that.

I agree with you Wishing

Taking our guns and fishing rights should be so far down on the dems to do list to clean up the mess that this repub president has left that those bills will be passed the same day kindergartners get drivers liscences.

Maybe part of the problem is that everytime the sky falls, we look to the gov't to prop it back up.

First off, why would the dems take our fishing poles? As a weapon, a golf club is much more efficient, and with Washington being full of wealthy politicians, nobody is gonna be taking our golf clubs.

As for guns, I agree with Doc. There's a whole lot of more important stuff, and Obama has already said that he doesn't care all that much, other than wanting a little bit of inner city pistol control (You can't sell a 16 year old 15 fifty dollar .38's on the south side of Detroit without a background check, or a written statement that he is not in a gang)

As for anybody taking my guns, they'll be getting the business end first, and the reinforcements can pick me and the guns up off the floor......

In all seriousness I dont think they will ever, ever take away guns.
Ammunition on the other hand unless im mistaken isn't covered by the constitution.

Ammo is covered in the Constitution. No difference between bullets and arrows as far as that is concerned.

I doubt they'll be trying to take our right to hunt and fish away, I mean with all the lies obama is telling to get elected he'll have his hands full if he does end up in office . And I'll bet cases of old english 40oz's will be mass shipped to the white house soon after .

if you look at Obama's record against guns in Chicago and Illinois, you'd think differently. He wanted to ban ALL GUNS IN ILLINOIS....and when that bill didn't pass, he tried others......such as making it ILLEGAL to defend yourself in YOUR OWN HOUSE with a GUN!

As far as the economy goes, look up the "Community Reinvestment Act". Originally it was passed by Carter to allow low income families to afford homes. Basically it gave incentives to banks to get low income families into homes. A few years down the road, Clinton revises it to offer even more incentives to the banks. Do you know who voted it, you guessed it, Obama. The result was, banks lowered the amount of money needed for a down payment, lowered the qualifying credit scores, and even more scary, increased the debt to income ratio so high that people are spending 55-60% of there monthly income on a house. Their hearts were in the right place, but there heads were up there ***.

McCain won't be a great president, but he isn't near as scary as Osama.....I mean Obama.

the bills he's introduced for Illinois are the exact opposite. He wanted to make it Illegal to defend yourself in your own house, with or without a gun.

He also wanted to ban all guns in the state of illinois....not gun control, he just wanted to get rid of the guns alltogether.

Really? Which is why Jimmy Carter was an avid fisherman and hunter, and Bill Clinton liked to hunt. Bill Clinton also, in his last days in office set aside 58 MILLION acres of National forest land that would not be logged, in order to keep it wild and huntable.....You can't hunt if all the timber's cut, and the land is in 10000 acre tracts owned by big wigs who like to play cowboy......
The three presidents who have done the most for the American outdoorsman have been Theodore Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. Clinton and Carter are both democrats. Feel free to have your own political views, but don't make generalizations that are flat out stupid.

Even if you said "most", its not true.

Democrats are often less likely to impose stupid gov't regulations than republicans. Both sides only do it to appear to be acting. If the public knew just how often politicians propose things just to act, and how few have real conviction, they would be even more disgusted than they are already.

Do you really need a street sweeper shotgun? I support the right to keep and bear all arms, including roof mounted howitzers. I also think that child molesters, PETA members, and most TV producers should be shot without trial. SO I guess I'm a radical......But again, do you really need an M-16? I can see where the ban comes from, though I disagree....

As for the affair idea, can't forget Newt Gingrich, who left his wife while she had cancer, Strom Thurmond, who cheated on his 4th wife at the age of 88; John McCain, who cheated on his first wife with several women, including his current wife and various strippers while she was hospitalized from a car accident. Classy. And then there's Rush Limbaugh, Jesus of conservatism, who between painkiller addictions (maybe him and Cindy McCain go to the same dealer) has cheated on two of his three wives.

The majority of politicians, Republican or Democrat are dirtbags. They're rich, selfish and don't care about the working man. I believe that aside from his affair, Clinton was a good guy.

the street sweeper could be argued that its a little overboard for civilian use, but it sure would be helpful if China invaded us. An M-16, great gun. Ruger 10/22........come on, its a freaking semi-auto .22 caliber. Banning high capacity magazines? Can't have a tripod and flash suppressor or a folding stock? Guns don't kill people, people kill people. My guns have killed fewer people than ted kennedy's car. There was no drop in crime from the AWB, crime actually increased. when you ban guns, then criminals are the only ones who have them.......think about it.

Like I said, I don't support the ban. But I see where it's comin from. And yeah, people kill people, but you can kill a lot more people with a full auto machine gun with a 1000 round shell belt than with a hatchet. I say, just no full auto, and let everybody carry. It'd be messy for a few weeks, then it'd settle down. And bring back the public hanging......

Thats one thing that most people overlook about clinton/gore . They were great from a conservation stand point even though their economical packages flopped . But I still don't think Obama will back any of those policies . And if he does I just think it would be a ton of lies to help his chances of getting elected . I think the main problem is he's getting most of the swing vote and also getting the nod from all that want to think of themselves as liberal enough to vote for a black president based solely on the fact thats he's black regardless of what he promises or how many times he contradicts himself on the campain trail .

Then it will be your right to own the kind of car you want, The kind of light bulb you can burn in your house...Oh, wait that already happened.
You keep giving up rights to the Socialist Democratic party next thing you will be singing and prostrating yourself to Chairman (MAO)Obama. He is a pure socialist.

I want proof that Bill Clinton ever went hunting anything not wearing a skirt!! I have never seen him in any field gear. Prove it.

Never really seen Jimmy Carter (arguably the worst president double digit inflation, double digit interest rates and gas lines for miles) carrying a gun or a rod.....Prove it.

Just because you say it with conviction does not make it true.....But hey, I still like all my fellow Americans on this website just because we disagree is not bad.
