no i think he said 80 strand. that is what my skirts are as well. most of the big name companies only have 40 strands and the 80 strand skirts allow you to do a lot more.

Yep, I too have 80 strand skirts. One of my reasons for doing this is because I hate buying jigs that have thin skirts. So I figured if you want a thick skirt, it's perfect, if not, you can cut some strand off.
