What do you guys have to do in order to get out and go

Some of you guys are married. What do you guys have to do around the house, if anything in order to get out and fish? What do your parents make you do. I have been carrying boxes up and down steps for about three weeks. My dad has a bad hip so I have had to do everything myself. It's brutal.

Got to take care of the ones taking care of you. For the most part I tell her Im going fishing. Usually dont catch any flack unless theres some honeydo's to do.

My parents just want me to make sure my chores are done/going to get done on time, that we're not going anywhere as a family, and that they know I'm going.

Usually in the summer if I'm going with a friend I just tell them with who and where.

not married living with the same gal for nearly 4 years..if it is day light and my truck is gone odds are i am either working or fishin.. honey be dams can always wait till after dark regaurdless what they are..

I tell my girlfriend lovin or fishing. I pretty much fish when I want to.

Women like their own time to, unless its a dependant type personality.
We men do enough by working 40+ hours a week, do upkeep on the house and property, along with the chores. Women work hard too!
They are always welcome to join in on fishing...... No problem.
The reality is that most women do not want to go out in the weather and fish for bass only , day after day.
The way I look at it is *at least we have a clean hobby/sport* that is shared by ancestors back millions of years.
We aren't in bars or chasing other women while we are out fishing..right?
I learned many years ago that there is a fine line between spending all you attention on fishing instead of your wife.
Its a delicate balance, and I say if nothing is going on and your ready to have some fun , a challenge, and some RELAXATION, go fishing!
Many times I come back in a Way Better Mood than before.
Even when things go wrong while fishing, backlashes, slow bite, missed hookups, at least your out enjoying Nature and always learning or sharing with others.

The only request is this. What lake what ramp and the aproximate time I will be home, Any question about when or how often was settled 25 years ago when we first started dating.After about 6 months of dating and me never spending one day off with her she asked me if I had to fish every day that I had off. I told her thatI had been fishing at that time for 25 years and that I had been seeing her for 6 months. If she was looking for a chance to give me an ultimatum she had best not go there, 8 more years of dating and 18 years of marrage and the subject has never come up again. See Guys honesty in a relationship is the best policy. Now I have a 15 year old tag along. Fish2win
