storing buzzbaits.
i have a falcon buzzbait wallet and i love it except for one thing. it is worthless for storing buzzbaits with two blades, like the strike king double take. anyone have any ideas on a convienent but effective way to store these babies. i really like using them but have pretty much taken them out of the boat for lack of a way to store them.

Have you considered a hard body storage box made specifically for spinnerbaits? Plano makes a couple different ones to choose from. They are small and hold quite a few. I know the Bill Dance model from PLano is rather compact and holds 66 spinnerbaits. There are smaller ones too that hold 30 something.

These work great for spinneraits, but when it comes to buzzbaits, normal sized ones fit ok, and anything bigger than a normal sized one will not fit. I have also found with my Persuader Double Buzz, the two blades cause it to not fit. If you have a spinnerbait box like Plano's you can hang the double buzzbaits upside down by the hook. That's normaly how I have to do it.

I put mine in a 6"x6" worm bag and a small soft tackle bag. I can carry 6 or so in a bag. I put my spinnerbaits (6-8 per) in the other bags. I can carry at least 50 spinnerbaits and buzzbaits in one soft tackle bag. Keeps them seperated by size and color. Simple and effective.

That is why I am usually without a buzzbait, unless I have it tied on a rod in the boat.I don't know what brand the little double buzzbait that lizards gave me is, but I should track a few more down. P N J

There are a couple good double buzzbaits that i've used. the Persuader Double Buzz, the BPS Lazer Eye 4x4 (also has a trailer hook and some longer skirt strands), and of course, the BOOYAH Bi-You buzz (although that one is a wee bit pricey (9.99).
Like I said before, I keep mine upside down in my Plano Spinnerbait box. BB
