Default My First Swimbait Fish!

First of all I went to Dicks today and the bait monkey got me. They had Luck E Strike Bass Magic 3.5" swimbaits in Green Shiner. I also got some Eagle Claw Lazer sharp 4/0 swimbait hooks for em. So me and Kev went fishin at my pond to test out my new swimbaits. They looked AWESOME! About 20 casts into the day on a weed edge I felt a tug so I tugged back. Thats when I knew I had her. After a few spectacular jumps I had this tub of a bass in my hand. SHE ANNIHALATED MY SWIMBAIT! She was about 15" and had a stomach like a Lake Erie Smallie! I am guessin she went 1 and 1/2 to 2. Great way to start swimbait fishin!

Way to go cavs. Swimbaits are fun to throw, its not yet a confidence bait with me but I have one tied on pretty often these days.

Good job cavs. I want to try out my Hudd 6in. swimbait. I have to wait till all the trout fishermen are done on the trout lakes around here. Most are small lakes and there are just to many boats on them now. They'd get pi$$ed at someone slingin a big swimbait.

Nice job Cavs! I like those Bass Magic swimbaits and have caught some nice fish on them. I picked up a few more packs when Dicks put them on sale recently.

Dicks also carries Reaction Strike brand swimbaits, I think they are called Fatheads. They have been on clearance for awhile. I bought some and thought they were horrible. Don't waste your money.

Way to go Cavs. I've been slaying the bass on the 4 1/2" Bass Magic swimbaits. Your right about the bass annihalatting the swimbaits. They really want those baits when they hit!

congrats man swimbaits are a ton of fun to throw and I got pretty much both my kids hooked on them and my wife is throwing them to , nothing quite like the slam you get when a fish hits it .
