Wow ... where do you tie on?
That bottom bend? Wonder which way it tracks in the water. Very interesting. Capt Mike

Tie on in the bend facing east.(below the clacker) I haven't fished one yet but we threw it a few times in his pool and it looked good and sounded great. Blades are counter rotating, during the retrieve the little blade on main shaft will be submerged for a foot or two then the torque from the big blade will make it lay flat for a second and cause the little blade to pop up and start spittin for a foot or two................lather rinse repeat

That is nifty. I'd like one without the clacker.

I thought someone was calling me out?!? Anyways, never seen one before, but sounds like a good concept for an aggressive bite.

question....does the top blade stay IN or OUT of the water? seems like one would be UNDER water or the top blade would stay OUT of the water. would like to see it being used.

Quote:
When it hit the water he was reeling it slow and it looked and acted like any other buzzbait. Then he'd speed it up a little and it would kinda lay over on its side causing the little lower blade to surface, creating a wonderful two headed gurgle. Slow it down again and the little blade disappears.........guess you had to be there I love buzzbaits. I'm going to give this one some water time this spring. I still catch fish on that buzz I showed yall last year with a Rapala head. I still have good luck replacing the skirt with Sassy Shads. I still get way better hook ups using a soft crankbait type rod. If I'm fixin a sandwhich and realize we're out of mayonaise I quit fixin. ***little known trivia....The Garcia Girl Joan Salvato is Helen Hunts biological mother***

With tad longer wire shank one can place both above smaller on in front counter rotating yet seems counter productive as well as looks like a 3 hp outboard going across the lake.
Standard double buzzer two arms produces tad better yet still will spook smaller fish. Small delta blades are common called grass buzzbaits. |
