Default Need some help!

Hey I am twelve years old so some of the techniques are kind of tricky for me! When the fish are shallow I can catch fish with no problem but when they move out deep thats when I am puzzled haha. So what I'm wondering is what to look for out deep ( 20 +). What tend to be the best fish holder and not to hard to fish because the electronics on our boat are not amazing. Thanks!!

ok, look for a "hump" or a drop off on the screen. this either means there is a stump or something if it is a hump or high spot. a drop off is jsut that. it'll dip off. these are great places for bass. throw to the shallow part of the drop off and drag or crank, depending on what bait oyu are using, to the drop off. then if it is a worm or similier bait. let it fall. bass usually hit it ont he fall. if oyu are cranking, you'll feel the sudden "freeness" of the crankbait when it clears the edge after draggin it across the shallow part. either let it float a little or crank it harder to get it down. jsut 2 things i have learned and read about.

which is best....BOTH. both areas will hold bass. whether they bite is another story. lol.

an important thing to keep in mind about deep water fishing, and that is to find the edge of your drop off and roll offs that occur at the same depth the fish are wanting to hold.
