What's your favorite song?
Mine is American Pie by Don Mclean. I know I'm an old fart

I love American Pie, great song!! I don't really have a favorite song though. Ifn I had to chose though, probably Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who, Or up for Breakfast by Van Hallen.

Nuff said! Probably the first song I learned the words to, and it just stuck with me. For those who didn't click the link. The song is Live Forever by Billy Joe Shaver

You can't have two favorites, John...
I'd say either "Little Wing" as performed by the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan, or "Pretzel Logic" by Steely Dan. That's what I'm saying right now, anyway. I might think of another song later.

What do you think about the Derek and the Dominos or Hendrix versions of Little Wing?

I prefer Hendrixs' version over the others. "Morning has broken" is my favorite.

Man I could have a huge list because I have several songs that when I hear them I think "man that is my favorite song". Here are a few though.
1. Good Hearted Woman - Waylon Jennings 2. Letter to me - Brad Paisley 3. Fishing In the Dark - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band 4. The Dance - Garth Brooks There are tons more but I pretty much like anything country, new or old.

HEY! The Live Forever song is great! My dad's favorite musician is Billy Joe Shaver...
I would have to probably go with Metallica's "Unforgiven 2" or maybe "Enter Sandman". But Metallica's newer song "Cyanide" is awesome too. Tough one... But then I will also listen to anything from "The Eagles" to "Mudvayne". I have a diverse taste of music, But I will have to go with a Metallica song, err, "Unforgiven 2".
