Default high rock 9-17-06

it was a chunky day at high rock. water temps varied from 73 at willife launch to 78 in crane creek..water was about as full as it gets and stained.. took me almost and hour to get to crane creek this morning normally takes 15 mintues. but as i said the lake was chunky.

i was tring to get a picture of 4 heron sitting/standing on a tree but taking pictures while dodging the floatilla of logs is diffacult at best..

as for the bass pictures on high rock. i have been asked to with hold that info till after a certain date.

all i can say is i caught 2 bass on a jig 2 on a c-rig 3 on a crankbait..

right in this spot it is 20-45 feet deep. normally there is NO logs in this area.. the middle picture is looking up stream, from crane creekmouth at swearing creek. just out of the picture on the left side is a hump that rises to 4 feet has a "danger can" on it..

easy start working in the back of the creeks. the bass are doing the feed bag thing there. try a square billed crank or a spinner bait..

A couple years ago after the drought the carp were floating everywhere.
Had to avoid them by dodging the fish on the main lake, the banks stunk as well. Had to stay at the residence for a week prior to returning.
Just didn't realize the number of 4-6 lb bass in "Flat Swamp", and yes they were biting.
On your pictures, I've seen it like this a couple times. Hard to get on plane.
