i was running into crane at wot this am when my phone rings.. of course i can't hear a dam thing -wind,moter,water-i tell who ever it is to call me back in a few mintues.. the auto answer was turned on -it's always turned on- i check to see who it is and i'll be damed it comes back "private" no way i can return that call.. them private numbers truely pizz me off more than any thing to be honest..

I hear ya Zook. We have caller ID on our land line phone here in the house. When a call comes in that shows up on caller ID as private, I refuse to pick up the phone. They can just kiss my a**.

We had Caller ID too, and I normally don't answer it when it says Private either because I don't want to talk to any of my mom's friends. But sometime's it's my mom on her cell phone... I don't like the dumb Private caller thing. the point of caller Id is to know who's calling. Isn't it?

Sometimes I answer and always, I repeat...always they start speaking Mes-a-kin. I guess they don't want to be tracked down and it goes with the area I live in. South Texas.

Do you guys have those tele marketers down there? they always come up as private caller, and they piss me off as well. And they always call at the weirdest times. Like your on a ladder fixing something, or at the other end of the house. You run like hell to get to the phone almost killing your self in the process, to find out they want to have a moment of your time to sell you some crap. I hear you cry for justice big guy and I hope some where there is someone listening to you.

Yeah, this reminds me of a good story... ok, ok, don't beg, i'll tell ya.

So this guy from like sprint or something calls. I answer the phone, and tell him I have to let someone go on the other line. So I pressed a button and pretended to have swithed to the other line. Then I say "Some ****ing ***** from sprint ****ing called, stupid *******. I ****inf hate sales calls, they ****ing **** me off." Then he hung up and didn't call back.

How old are you? Just curios. I used to have that same sentimate when I was in my late teens and early 20's. All I wanted to do was fish fish fish fish and when I didn't have to go to work fish. And I did quite a bit of it. Then I met my wife and had to pay for a year of her school and when she got her first job we bought a new pro craft. a much nicer rig than I could afford by my self. Then on Christmas day 2005 my first child was born. Now hoping that my little girl wants to love the lake as much as daddy we bought a deeper boat. Now my wife is about to drop another yungen any minute now and let me tell you after seeing my first one born I would not trade that one moment if I never got to fish again. An 8 lb bass cant hold a light to an 8 lb baby. But thats just me. and trust me, you get some kids when the time is right and the bait monkey will understand. He may not be so forgiving if you get them too early. Bottom line is I would not trade my family (wife, kid and kid to be) for a yearly angler of the year title on BASS and FLW combined. But thats just me.
