July 13th Double Report
Tonight's crew was not well trained in casting. But by the end of the marathon of casting they improved incredibly well. They said Capt Mike why are you not fishing..well...I was guiding and pushing the boat around..then they insisted I fish. OK I picked up a popping frog and then I rolled snakehead over a bunch of pickle grass and it pulled off first cast. Then I landed a couple of big LGMouth. I felt bad just a wee bit..a really small wee bit..
They got the hang of casting and scored some nice chunky LGMouth and it was all good. The tide rolled in very fast and we watched the fish just fly by, back into the woods and back pockets. They ignored our baits so we followed them back and scored a few more just before dark. Capt Mike
