They truly are man's best friend. I've only had my dog 2 years and I don't know what I'd do without her. Sorry to hear about it. He looks like he was one heck of a companion.

Man, that's rough, Ron. I'm sorry to hear that. That's the loss of a family member.
We just had to put down a Lab we found on the side of the road because of complications from heartworm treatments. We only had Chance for 4 months, but it was still hard to say goodbye. I can't imagine that happening after 9 years.

RIP, Bubba Ray.

It's always tough when you lose a cherished pet. Especially dogs, who have the one trait no other pets do...loyalty.

Now I can see why you got so mad over the Michael Vick thing.

sorry to hear that, I know what great dog lovers you and the wife are, just the rest here, we fill your pain. We buried our collie Meeka a month ago after she had kidney failure, I have her buried in the garden with a angel headstone.

Major bummer, bcklash. Pets become a part of the family, for sure. I'm guessing you're feeling about the same as I did when my black lab died several years ago. Just because it's an animal, that doesn't mean it's easy.

I'm sorry to read here of your loss. Having lost two dogs in 3 years from cancer I know what you must be feeling. It's a heartbreaker. We have two other dogs now, a 2 year old lab and a 1 year old german shorthaired pointer. They help to ease the pain and bring joy to our lives, but we still miss our other two dogs. My thoughts are with ya buddy.

Sorry to hear about your loss Backlash. We would be heart broken if we lost any one of our three dogs. karen and I love our dogs so much that our one year old has to have both knees operated on(ACL), both hind legs. It's about $4500.00, the price we pay for loyalty and companionship.

$4500? I'd check somewhere else. I had to have my Rott's ACL fixed like 6-8 years ago and it was $650. There could be more things required in your dog's case of course but I'd look into it if I were you

That's for both knees. We have been to 3 doctcors and the price remaines the same. Keep in mind this is a littlle dog a chiuachua mix. We have shopped but this is the best price and most qualified vet we can find in Florida. I am disgrrunteled about this, but at least we are both working.
Mallen, I'm back in the work force now, 2 1/2 months into it. Dog eat dog, that's all I can say!!
