I'll never understand the high intrinsic value we place on 'stuff'.

Back in June I went to an art show. Several paintings there ($1-$3k) were labeled 'Artists interpretation of Lake at twilight" or the like - okay, so I'm not an artsy/fartsy kinda guy, but it looked like crap to me, something from a kindergarden class! ... but I'll just betcha some of them sold!

Precious stones, gold, jewelery, old stuff .... the list goes on for stuff with no real value.
Think of how much a fella can spend on flowers for his lady friend... only to have them wilt and go in the trash a few days later.

We really need our heads examined.....I'm just sayin.

Still....wish I could go back in time and pile up those comic books, not to mention those baseball cards that made my bike sound cool!!! Jeez.
