Default Did it again!

Sunday 6/20 on Nubanusit lake. 2lb 10oz
Cheated this time, used a live worm. Good thing we had the net, it was barely hooked.

Picturing nofear laying on the deck sweet talkin the fish and up swims a big ole carp lookin fer some fun!

Now there's a fish story in the makin....with a whole new meaning to 'the one that got away'.

Btw, I see no shame in live bait.

the day turned out well. What my hubby forgot to mention was before I caught the fish, I forgot to make sure the plug was in the boat when we launched her. I won't make that mistake any time soon (God willing) Two people were at the launch and they helped me take the motor off, and we all dragged her to shore to empty the water out. One gentleman that came along had a spare plug. I offered to pay him for it, but he declined. So if anyone is ever in NH, and you lose a plug, I now have several spares in the truck and will gladly "pay it forward" That day we saw a huge bald eagle on the lake, it's nesting over on the side of the lake where I caught that fish. Nothing better than being out in the boat with my husband, catching fish is fine bonus

Oh no, you forgot the plug. I wish I had a quarter for all the times folks that told me 'don't forget to put the plug in' after finding out we gotta boat. I guess it happens a lot.
So far so good....knock wood.

GIDEUP, don't sweat the drain plug thing. I forgot mine once last year. Oddly enough, it gives you a certain "sinking" feeling.

We fished Friday and Saturday with that boat. Unless it rains, I don't take the plug out, so our guess is that sometime between leaving the lake we went to Saturday and launching at this one Sunday, the anchor bounced around and knocked it out.

She's lucky I keep putting her on these big ones :-) We each had 6-7 after that one.

I heard a rumor that nofear throws on a Marvin Gaye CD to lure them fish in.
Great lookin smallmouth right there!
